Men's Vintage/Antique Jean Louis Roehrich Mechanical Military Watch

- 1940s
- Screwdown caseback
- I believe the luminous hands/indexes are most likely radium based, so don't lick it. A few are still luminous, some are not.
- Movement: Swiss manual wind mechanical (Accura Watch Co, 17 jewels)
- Water resistance: None indicated
- Case size: 31mm
- Lug width: 17mm
- Wrist size: 7 3/8" max
- Standard/replaceable band: Yes
- Excellent condition. Light wear. Inside of lugs have a little wear from a previous bracelet. Aftermarket band. Movement looks nice. Winds and runs well. NOTE: All my vintage mechanical watches are in as-found, unserviced mechanical condition. I check to make sure they run smoothly and keep decent time, and nothing is obviously broken, but are otherwise as is. I still offer free returns if you're unhappy in any way.
- NOTE: In person signature confirmation and address verification required for delivery. Insurance also included for free.
- Some additional info on the watch: Jean Louis Roehrich was born in London 10/11/1896, died February 1981 in Connecticut. He was supposedly a founder of the NAWCC, worked with Omega and Cartier, and had a jewelry shop at 599 5th Avenue, NYC for years.

A British watchmaker who moved to the United States, Roehrich worked for Cartier, his position title was Horological Engineer. Thereafter, for many years, Roehrich was the proprietor of his own jewelry store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Watches sold in his establishment were high grade Swiss made timepieces and included movements by such illustrious makers as Girard-Perregaux, Aero Compax / Universal Geneve, Patek Philippe, Audemars (Audemars Piguet), Zodiac, and Northfield (one of his house brands). Often, Roehrich used his own name on the quality pieces that were featured in his store. Roerich was one of the founding members of the NAWCC, member number 19. He was also instrumental in curating Henry Ford's watch and clock collection.

- General info: Stated water resistance is from manufacturer. Water resistance not tested. Showering is not recommended with any watch because of the heat, steam and soap. No box/papers included unless indicated. Please contact me before buying if you have any questions or need more info.
